European Union wants to extend $51 million for several projects
The European commission announced that it would approve a grant of $9 million to finance infrastructure projects in different sectors such as water, energy and transportation in Lebanon. |

Lebanon This Week, the weekly report from Byblos Bank explains that this program should be achieved over a four year period.
Furthermore European Union should extend its project amounting to $14 million euros to promote competition in the private sector and $10 million euro to help and update the judicial system.
European Union should also allocate $18 million to help develop the north of Lebanon.
The Italian cooperation promised to give $5 million euro for reconstructing Nahr El Bared camp.
Italy, the ministry of interior and other municipalities has signed a cooperation agreement of 950 000 dollars to foster local development.
Finally Switzerland, attributed $286 000 as part of a plan of $800 000 that aims to provide technical assistance to manage disasters.
