The Daily Star is the leading English language newspaper in Lebanon. It was first published in 1952 by Kamel Mroue. It was re-launched in November 1996 and since has obtained very rapidly an international quality reputation for its political and business coverage.
Our Lebanon desk has 17 full time reporters and 24 stringers scattered across Lebanon. The Business desk has 4 full time reporters and 12 stringers covering regional, local and reconstruction news.
