A.Chahine et Fils inaugurates one of its main stores at Chiyah, Hazmieh boulevard
in Beirut. Following a brief period of activity in 1975, this branch was forced
into closure by the war, enduring all kinds of losses.
This most spacious store crowns the success achieved by the establishment and
its founders Abdallah and his son Joseph since 1942 in Bab-Edriss, Beirut.
For Joseph Chahine, it's a dream come true, opening a music megastore in Lebanon.
A wide range of musical instruments, CD's and cassettes is displayed over three
floors covering an area of 1200 square meters. The design is made to insure comfort
for the customers: CD listening posts, soft atmosphere, friendly staff and efficient
assistance, as well as a private parking space surrounded by greenery.

concern of "Voix de l'Orient" is to promote the Lebanese musical heritage.
It owns the largest CD and cassette repertoire in the Arab world.
Today, Abdallah Chahine junior assisted by his sisters Lina and Dany, works closely
