First Lebanon: a portal devoted to advertise Lebanese firms, a tool to promote Lebanese websites.

First Lebanon is a web portal that deals with the Lebanese economy. It is part of a broader Mediterranean network of business oriented portals: www.1stmediterranean.com

This website utilizes two main communication vectors: the site itself and a monthly newsletter addressed to over 9000 subscribers.

Since 2000, the site is a reliable source of information for Lebanese and Lebanese expatriates as well as people interested in the Lebanese economy and its different sectors.

The site provides the following services and functionalities:

Market place :
We have developed a marketplace which access is restricted to subscribed company managers. This database allows publishing and reading business opportunities, press releases and job offers / job openings.
It also allows posting and reading of partnership offers and opportunities to all registered members.

Content partnerships:
Though being editors of most of the content on our site, we entered into partnership with several local media to enrich the content we propose: Daily Star, Commerce du Levant, l’Agenda Culturel.
Promoting both companies and the economy:
An introduction to major sectors of the Lebanese economy is available on the site as well as a comprehensive description of the leading companies pertaining to these sectors.
Each company can present its activity on a page hosted on within the site.

Positioning :
We carried out an extensive effort to position the site onthe first result page of the leading search engines.
Today, First Lebanon appears among the ten first results (on the first page) for over 5000 keywords combined with «  Lebanon » or « Liban ». See (Positioning).



Incentive
The site features a loyalty program for registered company owners that allows for preferential rates or conditions upon buying or ordering to other registered companies.

Other Services 
In addition to forums, newsletters, internal search engine, the site offers business opportunities listings, trade fairs and exhibitions calendars, royalty free pictures databases, a presentation of the main historical, natural and tourist attractions, real-time currency exchange rates and shortcuts to a selection of local ecommerce websites.

Our Newsletter
Our e-newsletter is sent to our entire email database on a monthly basis. Registered members can use this newsletter to send information to all subscribers, be it information on new product, business or partnership opportunities, and so on and so forth…
