with her knowledge of antique and byzantine art, Marie traces its
development to the Holy Land, often borrowing from the cultures of the
Mycenea and Greece to that of Byzantum and Persia. In her antique and
byzantine designs she uses precious and semi-precious stones, antique
coins, and old Roman and Pheonician glass. |
